Get a little house sculpture such as a heavy Christmas ornament or a decoration. Get some dry or dmp sand and pour it on a table. Get some rocks and put it near the sand. put the house on top of each and show them which one holds up better. Do something like that for just you to do, or fo each of them to do. If you want it more hand on. Make them make a heavy house out of something such as popcicle sticks.
