I have a new house and there is sheet rock mud in the bottom of my bathtub how do I get that out?

use dry wash cloth to cover lumps of dry drywall mud. take hammer or other hard object and tap lightly until mud breaks up into smaller pieces, sweep out tub. then wash tub with warm water. dry mud cleans up much easyer than wet.

Sheet rock compund it actually water soluable .Let the water soften the spots or globs and wash away. With a soft rubber spatula you can try to dislodge a larger section just be careful not to scratch the surface. Enjoy your new home! When all the cleaning and moving is done you can lay back and relax in that nice new tub! Best wishes.
Just wet it and it will come up easier.
Take a bubble-bath and rub your butt back and forth on it. The sheet rock mud, that is.
