Did School House Rock help you in school?

I don't know how many times those little ditties helped me in school, they help me to this day - from Grammar to Math to the Constitution! How smart the Saturday morning line up producers who used these educational cartoons instead of commercials - Thank you, School House Rock - music really helps the message sink in -





Did School House Rock help you remember your math facts or grammar? Wouldn't it be nice if they brought it back to children programing again?

I am a teacher now and I use it im my class and my students seem to get a lot out of it. However when I was little, I found School House Rock very annoying and redundant. I also thought their jingles lasted FOREVER!!! So I dont think they helped me, but I do believe they help students in general!Did School House Rock help you in school?
I wouldn't say they helped me.. as much as they stayed embedded in my mind til this day (senior in college)... conjunction junction, what's your function!!!?? Those were awesome.





Yeah, it would be good for them to bring it back, but... I think it's a completely different generation nowadays... they need something THEY can relate to more...... ya know. They need their myspace and facebook, aim, internet, spongebob, hannah montana, etc............... things we didn't have while growing up...
