How influencial and effective were the School House Rock Cartoons for you in your formative years of education? I'm just a Bill, Figure 8, Verb, anyone?Were you educated by School House Rock cartoons?
I still have those rhymes in my head, especially the Conjunction one because of the long train in the commercial. Do you remember the one they use to run about cheese? ';I hanker for a hunk of, a slab, a slice, a chunk of, I hanker for a hunk of cheese.';Were you educated by School House Rock cartoons?
I did not use them, but they are cute and probably very effective./
a little bit, don't remember from which song, but yes it educated me a little.
A lot. As a teacher I could use them now.


I can't say the Preamble, but I can sing it. They were short and a bit corny sometimes, but they instilled the concepts of grammar, arithmetic and social studies.
I learned the Preamble song from one of those videos, but that's it really. I find it easier just to memorize stuff.
