Why did Elvis's song ';Jail House Rock'; make it to be his most famous song? How did it impact the music world?

For my final exam in Music Appreciation, I have to come up with a list of 10 songs/composers from the classical, romantic, neo-classical, jazz, blues, bee-bop, hard-bop, classic rock, and funk music. I also have to give a reason for WHY that song was so influential in the music/ real world. HELP ME PLEEEEEASE! Its due tomarrow! Why did Elvis's song ';Jail House Rock'; make it to be his most famous song? How did it impact the music world?
I think this had a real impact on the world because this was the song that really started rock ! ! !

The song came during his brief heyday and hit a nerve. He had many songs that compete for his best: Heartbreak Hotel, All Shook Up, others. But Jailhouse Rock also had a big spot in a movie. It was one of the early songs that established rock n roll as white. Once people sorted out that the guys who wrote their own songs were the real rock n rollers, Elvis went into legend status and his actual work didn't matter at all.
I'd pick a different song honestly, It's classified as influential because it helped ';shape'; rock %26amp; roll I think Johnny b. good by chuck berry is a better choice personally.
