Do you think they should put School House rock back on TV?

I mean Ive seen both sides now(republican and democrats) using children to make their points of view,(and its sickening me) why not introduce them back to the basics of learning,english,history,and law.Then they can generalize what their opinion is(as far as a kid goes)

Absolutely. Schoolhouse Rock's version of how a bill gets passed is more accurate than half of what the 100-level college government classes teach these days.

Maybe I was too young or stupid, or maybe they did a good job...but I never realized I was learning when watching Schoolhouse Rock! That's supposed to be the point, right? Learning while having fun. Better than Blues Clues which just made me feel slow.

I still remember all the schoolhouse rock songs. They really helped me in school too. I have thought for many years that they should be put back on TV. I was disappointed that my son didn't get to watch it when he was younger.
If we put such a thing back on television children, would actually learn civics and know when an admin is railroading against freedoms and liberties. Dont expect it on a TV near you during the current admin.
School House rock is a piece of childhood nostalgia, and I wouldn't mind having it still shown in schools. Throw in Bill Nye the science guy, and you've got yourself an epic combo.
The original one would be great.





With the current administration though, any new version will probably feature kids singing songs about Obama and be directed by Roman Polanski.
